Delta pulls off tulle and lace, the singing wonder woman rocks the giant tulle skirt and lace long sleeved/high neck top. She pulls off the floral crown which looks amazing with the outfit, but sadly leaves us in doubt with her choice in shoes, comfy and appropriate yet not completely appealing with the colours.

Currently I'm on a long and bumpy railroad adventure from Perth until eventually reaching the golden harbours of Sydney, now why didn't I choose the easy way out and to fly?

Well I'm pretty glad that I get to see such amazing scenery on this journey and maybe some pictures I found will maybe change your mind about flying high and you might change your way and discover yourself sitting in a patterned chair seeing outside your window kilometres of bush and hearing elevator music in your cabin.

This trend has been one of the most simple yet effective wears in fashion so far,

Cuffs were extremely popular in the 1950's and it's time for our ankles to see the sun again!

Show some ankle and cuff those pants for a simple look that could be worn anywhere really (not only at the beach)

Cuffed boyfriend jeans are my favourite, they could be paired with singlets or crops tops to show some skin or some heels for a more feminine look, show those ankles girls!

Now not only does the denim get the spotlight, show those sleeves how good you can cuff. Cuff thin, cuff thick or if you don't like the look don't cuff at all...

But darlings, it's time to give our old jeans and sleeves a makeover with the simple touch of a folded cuff!

The show began with hosts Jillian McHugh (WA Today) and James McHale (ABC) 
took the runway for the Cue, Wittner and Myer runway show to show off the newest clothing for the season.

 

Lots of the female models strutted their stuff in coloured printed dresses (Cue) yet they all (including the male models) walked out in the same shoes sadly, most of the shoes not matching the outfits.


Except I still seemed to love most of the clothing, especially that seeing the models wearing the clothing seemed to make the clothing look better than in store on the rack.

Western Australian designer, Poppy Lissiman also decided to watch the show dressed in lots of colour, detail and studs she watched front row sitting next to the runway hosts, Jillian and James and some other friends.

Print was the obvious centre of attention in the runway show and along with the focus of cuffed clothing, cuffed pants, jeans, sleeves, cuffed everything!

(I'm a big fan of cuffed!)

Also known as the 'Skater Skirt' is one of the skirts that isn't going out of style anytime soon and it's one style I will be rocking for a long time.

It can be styled in numerous ways,
For different events,
Weather,
Formal or casual...

In this case, I'll be showing you how to rock a preppy skater skirt look!








If rocking it preppy, use primary colours and use a splash of colour;
I used a navy blue and black then a bright red to make it more spiffy.


Contrast Rocks - Don't forget to mix it up, but not too much...
Don't wear prints or neon, keep it simple; as if wearing a school uniform.
Use contrast! - Black and white, blue and red...

Banned in the Prep-Squad - Some things just aren't preppy and really won't suit the skater skirt, but if you want to be a bit rebel...
Go for it!


No heels allowed - School girls don't wear heels to school and the preppy you wouldn't appreciate such a change, preppy should look and feel comfortable, so rock some low cut converse shoes, canvas sneakers or some sandals.


No Bling Bling - A little bling is mighty fine! But don't go running around looking like you just came back from a giant jewellery sale, you need to have a clean sort of look. Add a nice charm bracelet and some stud earrings if you feel the need for some bling though!

Most of us all remember the Miley Cyrus which was commonly known on our TV's as Miley Stewart that would have a secret life as a school girl while also being a secret celebrity known as Hannah Montana...

I can say that I didn't miss an episode of the girl with the country daddy, Billy Ray.

Yet now Miley has,
Matured I'd like to say, 
With her new look of cropped platinum blonde hair, tattoos and bling-bling.
Along with a more urban look than the old floral Disney Channel, Miley.

Miley has gone bad girl chic some say, and her song 'We Can't Stop'

Has been and still is on the top charts worldwide.

But Queen Cyrus is going to have a much bigger spotlight on her soon,

With a new album coming out titled "Bangerz."

One thing that Queen Cyrus is mostly known for is her killer confidence,

You would never guess that she would ever feel unconfident nor insecure.

Here's a few ways to rock the street and even world just like Queen Cyrus:

1. Own whatever you wear, show the world who you are and what style you have, wear something that screams who you are and what you feel.
